Fit India Movement
Fit India Movement
Greeting of the Day,
First of all I would like to thank all my dear parents for their participation. Success and fitness are closely connected. “Body fit hai toh mind fit hai” was well said by our Honourable Prime Minister- Narendra Modiji. “Fit India Movement” is an effort to bring small lifestyle changes in people. The Prime Minister said that people can make themselves efficient in their profession if they are mentally and physically fit. If the body is fit , then mental fitness follows naturally.
At Blossom School we celebrated Fit India Week from 18th December ,2020 to 24th December, 2020. Various activities like yoga, free hand exercise sessions, Poster making, Essay writing, Quiz competitions and other indigenous games were organized.
The week long fitness programme commenced with a yoga session, where different asanas were taught to the young Blossom School learners and tiny tots. The session was conducted in the morning hours to help them learn various postures and relaxation techniques. Free hand exercises have a positive effect on the muscles and internal organs of our body, toning up the circulatory and muscular system. This was learnt by the young minds during the morning hours online live sessions.
“Hum Fit Toh India Fit” was the theme of the poster making competition where in the creative minds were at work to create thought provoking art work to project their awareness on health issue.
“Fitness beats pandemic” was the theme of the Essay writing activity that provided our students an avenue to express their thought
A Quiz is a game which can also be called a mind sport wherein the players, either as individuals or in teams, attempt to answer questions. The young Blossom School champs really enjoyed a quiz which commenced on 23rd Dec 2020 through the medium of Google Form.
The journey of one week brought with it the kind of verve and zeal that had the potential to inspire them to continue keeping themselves, fit and happy. Thanks a lot dear parents my lovely children ‘God bless all of you.’
